Expo Line Board Certifies Phase 2 Final EIR

February 4, 2010 the Expo Line Board of Directors voted to certify the Phase 2 Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR). The FEIR represents the final environmental document regarding Expo Phase 2, the extension of the Expo Light Rail Line from Culver City to Santa Monica.

The Expo Board approved the project’s Recommended Preferred Alternative, the Light Rail Transit Alternative 2 (Expo Right-of-Way – Colorado) from Culver City to Santa Monica and the Maintenance Facility Buffer design option that includes Santa Monica College and Verizon properties with a buffer to provide additional protection for the residential community.

Welcome to the New & Improved MVNA.NET

It's taken some doing, but we're pleased to welcome you to our revamped and improved website. Please explore. We've added a Discussion Group feature that allows anyone to express their views on a local issue. Whether you're new to internet forums or not, please take a moment to register and comment. This can be a great tool for creating even greater community in Mar Vista. We've also added an easy-to update-calendar, quick fixes for common problems, and made it easier to learn about and join our many clubs. I'd like to thank Stewart Pringle for much hard work getting the site design and launched. Tara Mulski is our new webmaster. Please send her your comments: webmaster@mvna.net
