Our congenial group –usually five to eight Francophiles show up- meets the first Wednesday of each month from 7pm to 9pm. The gatherings are very informal, there is no agenda, we only speak French, we talk about varied issues/topics as they come up; most of all, we have fun socializing while drinking some good wine. Every participant brings some finger foods and/or drinks to share. Group members take turn to host the meetings in their homes. Anyone able to follow and maintain a conversation in French is welcome. There is usually one native French speaker attending the “rencontres”.
